Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideally situated, only 3 minutes walk from the Royal Baths and the shops in Harrogate. The extensive free parking is a major advantage, especially considering other hotels charging for parking. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making the stay enjoyable. On the downside, the rooms are in need of refurbishment, and the cleanliness could be improved, requiring guests to request basic amenities like cups and spoons in a less-than-ideal manner.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room was clean and just big enough for a bed, although it could do with a makeover. The bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good overall. The service was friendly but lacked attention at times. The location was walking distance to the center of Harrogate, which I found convenient. The dining experience had its ups and downs. In terms of facilities, the hotel seemed a bit worn but had some redeeming qualities.
The hotel had well-decorated and furnished rooms with ample space for a couple of days' stay. However, paying an extra £65 per night on a four-night stay seemed a bit overpriced. The walls were paper-thin, making every sound from next door audible; it felt like a virtual cupboard overall.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a few minor issues, but the staff is polite and professional. The location is ideal with good food options nearby. The dining experience could be improved, and the hotel facilities are adequate.
The hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, making it easy to walk around the Dales and the staff at breakfast were impressive. However, the rooms felt cramped with only one high window, and Wi-Fi in the bedroom was an extra cost. The dining experience was acceptable but had its flaws with long wait times, while the service left much to be desired.
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel, with lovely rooms and excellent service. The location was convenient, but there were some minor drawbacks with the dining experience.
The hotel had rooms of a decent size, equipped with amenities like coffee and hairdryers. However, our stay on the 1st floor lounge area was disrupted by loud piano music during breakfast and early evening. Despite some dated aspects, the hotel offered good value for money.
I couldn't have asked for a better location! Just a short 3-minute walk from the Royal Baths and the shops, and the free parking on the hotel grounds is a real bonus. The rooms are spacious and clean, but could benefit from a modern update. The staff are extremely helpful and courteous; I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
